Wanted: writings, b/w line drawings, occasional colour or b/w photos.

Guidelines

Contribute Your art works to treesong-DryaD for publication in future books, brochures, or other projects. Send by mail. Be sure to include your contact info & bio. (Artists under 18) Please include parents' signed, written permission to publish the art work.

Illustrator: for a comix style version of some episodes. Mythic Songs of the Forest by the eminent dryad and world's first tree author, Skyrock Maple Tree. Principle elements: Musical trees, beautiful flute player, various other characters, settings in forests of the world. One episode to start. Please phone for appointment to show sketches or work and discuss the project. Royalty, possible advance installments.

electronic Composer: Mythic Songs of the Forest. Musical tree voices compared to orchestral instruments. Music tells the story. Royalty on products.

Contribute your book, music CD, art, or craft product to treesong-DryaD, to be sold as a fund-raiser for one of our forests & other good causes

Book Sales Help Wanted

Sell treesong-DryaD Books to your friends. Sell them at your local bookstores. Sell them at gift shops. Sell them to libraries. Dress up as a Tree, and sell books on the street.

Promotions & Relations: Interested in fashion, costume, acting.

Write and talk to people about treesong-DryaD Books.

Policy for Volunteers -- Skyrock Forest Arts (SFA) -- All SectionsMarch 11, 2003

PRIVACY
1. Volunteers shall provide sufficient information to prove, to the satisfaction of the current volunteer manager and the SFAinc board of directors, their identity and sincere involvement or interest in related activity.

2. Volunteers shall respect the privacy of Associates, of other volunteers, and of all persons who are part of GWHCA and SFAinc. Personal information such as e-mail addresses and anything that is not publicly posted, should not be passed along without permission.

2-A. Anyone found to deliberately or recklessly violate the privacy of others, may be suspended by the current volunteer manager and may be expelled by the SFAinc board of directors based solely on their assessment.

2-B. An e-mail of each volunteer shall be made available to all volunteers. Each volunteer shall provide an e-mail to the volunteer manager, for the purpose of informing other volunteers. (This is a protection for volunteers, who can talk to each other without talking to the manager. It enables individual volunteers to compare notes on any problem he or she might have with a volunteer manager, director, or officer of SFAinc.)

POSITIVE COMMUNICATION
3. Volunteers shall be respectful, positive and cheerful in all communications. Volunteers will not get into "wars of words" with Associates or members of the public or other volunteers. Debate of policy and tactics is encouraged, but not while working with Associatesand the public. Complaints and problems should be addressed to the volunteer manager, or an officer or director of SFAinc.

DISPUTES
4. Disputes between volunteers shall be mediated by an SFAinc Member and up to two other persons who are Volunteers or Associates or Members of SFAinc.

4-A. The final arbiter for disputes is the SFAinc board of directors.

POINTS
5. Volunteers shall earn points on the basis of 10 points per hour of work, or one point per dollar value contributed or solicited to the Skyrock Forest Maintenance Fund (One point for selling 2 books) or on the basis of other value contributed to the corporation, as approved by the board of directors.

5-A. Points may be used to purchase items Published or Produced by SFAinc on terms of ten points equals one dollar (10 points = $1).

5-B. Points may be used to apply for Membership in SFAinc on terms that one thousand (1,000) points shall be sufficient for membership.

6. Volunteers in any section of SFAinc activity may cross over and volunteer in other sections of SFAinc under direction of section managers.
